Da fábrica que desvanece à Baía do Tejo
Artist-in-residence project that united 6 artists/colectives and an industrial site. The residency resulted in an exhibition in the site itself.
For the visual communication I focused on a monochrome palette against a strong orange inspired by rust, evocative of the used, old industrial materials found in the intervention area. I wanted the image to feel contemporary but with a strong focus on the history of the site, such an important and inspirational factor for the artists.
The graphic elements suggest the connections between the artists and the space, and between the artists themselves. Partnerships and dialogue were a crucial part of the project and I wanted to represent that in the visual communication.
